The main goal of the Silicon Valley Open Doors Conference is to attract investments into companies in Russia, Ukraine, and countries of the Former Soviet Union for the realization of innovative projects in the sphere of high technology and to also help find business partners in the United States.
One of the most significant ways to achieve this goal is with the help of presentations demonstrating innovative projects to an audience of venture capitalists and experts from the Silicon Valley who have unique knowledge in high tech innovative projects.
Participants in the conference have the ability to:
- participate in the Stand Exposition of the conference;
- present their projects to an audience of venture capitalists and potential business partners;
- have their project descriptions in the catalogue for the conference;
- attend meetings with investors and potential partners.
The efficacy of the conference is attributed to the selection of the most promising projects to investors.
The innovative projects that have an advantage over others are those that:
- utilize the inventor's own technology and/or products;
- hold the most promise for markets;
- require financing of no more than $10 million;
- are presented by participants from Russia, Ukraine, and countries of the Former Soviet Union.
The selected projects are determined by a group of experts (the Expert Committee of the Conference) who are well familiar with the typical rules, regulations, and requirements of venture capitalists to innovative projects. They are chosen on the basis of the project descriptions and other necessary materials that may be requested by the Expert Committee to aid the group in making its decision. This confidential information may only be used by the organizers of the Conference in agreement with the privacy policy section of the original site.
Close communication between the participants and organizers of the conference will provide the participants with a unique opportunity to find out how much investors will be interested in the projects and how to best present these projects to an audience of venture capitalists.
The creators of the projects will have the chance to receive highly-qualified expert advice on the presentation of their projects.
