Up to 15 innovative projects will be pre-selected by the SVOD Expert Panel for presentations to venture capital investors and potential corporate partners. Company presentations will be judged by our distinguished Panel of Judges. The winner will receive a traditional AmBAR Golden Lock Award for the Most Promising Technology Company at the Closing Ceremony of the Conference.
Only registered participants can participate in the selection process, and the presentation slot is not guaranteed at the time of registration. There is no additional fee for a presentation. The selection decision is made solely on the merits of the project and at the discretion of the SVOD Expert Panel.
Companies willing to participate in the selection process must:
· indicate in the registration application of its representative the intention to present;
· submit up to 3 page Executive Summary in English for consideration by the Expert Panel . You may review Guidelines for Executive Summaries on our website.
Registrations with requests for a presentation must be submitted no later than September 15, 2008. SVOD will inform you about the verdict of the Expert Panel via email no later than September 30, 2008. Presentations will run in the afternoon of November 13-14, 2008. Each company will be given 20 minutes (including 5-minute Q&A session) to present its business. There is no required format of the presentation, but we highly recommend potential presenters to use the guidelines posted on our website.Selected participants must submit their final presentations to SVOD (see contacts) no later than October 30, 2008. The SVOD Executive Committee reserves the right to edit presentations before they are displayed at the conference. Each selected company will be given an opportunity and is required to go through coaching sessions with our experts (at no additional fees).
