Alex Liang is Partner of Oriza Ventures, an early stage venture capital fund focusing on technology investment in North America. Previously, Mr. Liang was a Venture Partner at SAIF Partners, a leading VC/PE firm in China. He headed SAIF’s US investment activities and helped the US portfolio companies expand into the China market.

Prior to joining SAIF, Mr. Liang was Founder and CEO of PICA, one of the earliest mobile internet companies in China. Before that, Mr. Liang was Vice President at Asia Netcom heading strategies for its pan-Asia data network services. He also served as Vice President at 21vianet, China’s leading Internet Data Center company.

Mr. Liang has a Master’s Degree from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and a Bachelor’s Degree from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
