An advice for pitching startups

As I was coaching you, I’ve noticed a few common issues. They are minor BUT turn out to be very important:
1. as few text on slides as possible
2. every slide shall have YOUR LOGO (that is your marketing tool!!!)
3. last slide: always contact info
4. showing demo is great, just don’t keep silence. Speak over demo, describe what is going on it. Your voice shall always be heard.
And the last point:
DO YOUR HOMEWORK: go to www.svod.org and review the list of speakers and investors. THAT IS DONE FOR YOU! Find out who your target investors are. They will come and go and it is good to know them, their faces and expertise, so that you do not lose your time AT THE CONFERENCE.
