Anna Dvornikova

Anna is a Managing Partner at TEC Ventures, a Silicon Valley seed-stage fund (www.tec.vc) focused on global-born founders.

Anna is a Founder of SVOD – Silicon Valley Open Doors International Startup Investment Conference – the premier yearly event in the Silicon Valley bringing 2,000+ attendees: local & international start-ups, prominent Silicon Valley angels, VCs, leading technology, business media, and top US tech companies.

As part of her non-profit activities, Anna is the Founder, President and a Board member of AmBAR – American Business-Association of Russian-Speaking Professionals, growing it over the years from a small local gathering to the largest business network of Eastern-European and Eurasian professionals with 50K+ members.

Previously, Anna was an angel investor with some of her portfolio companies rating as top 10 Russian high-tech startups.  She is the author of many articles on entrepreneurship, angel and venture financing.

In 2010, Anna organized, in partnership with RUSNANO, the first historical delegation of 20 Managing Partners from top Silicon Valley VC firms ($60+ bln under management) to Moscow to meet with business & government elite, including President Medvedev. The trip resulted in $400M+ in deals. Anna was the organizer and a host of the Russian President’s visit in the Silicon Valley in June, 2010.

Anna is a frequent speaker at international conferences.  She was featured on CNN, in Wall Street Journal, San Jose Mercury News, Silicon Valley Business Journal, as well as major Russian TV channels and newspapers.

Anna was named among “100 Most Influential Women of 2014” by the Silicon Valley Business Journal (in category “Women VCs”).

Anna is a Board Member of the Gooddler Foundation, a member of the United Nations Compact for Young People in Humanitarian Action.

Anna holds her J.D. from the prestigious Moscow State Institute of International Affairs (MGIMO) and her Master of Laws degree from the Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California, Berkeley.
