Carl is a cross-border entrepreneur and product lead who played key role in Uber China’s explosive growth and the eventual $7bn exit. Before Uber, he had a wide range of operational background including Director of Product at Tencent, Software Engineering at Microsoft, and his first entrepreneurial experience – Founder & CEO at Sparks Mobile, a Machine Learning company (acquired 2014)
The wonderful thing about entrepreneurs is that their passion for starting new companies transcends languages and geographic boundaries. I felt very comfortable at SVOD and recognized its participants as having the same type of DNA that made Silicon Valley what it is today.
