Investor at SAIC Capital

Lei is currently an investor with SAIC Capital, which is a $200 million corporate venture fund making early and growth stage investments in and around auto tech/deep tech/software/mobility space. Lei is responsible for the venture investment as well as China strategy (including BD, fundraising and M&A opportunities) for the portfolio companies. SAIC Capital is the venture capital investment arm of SAIC – Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation – the largest automotive group in China and ranked 60th on the Fortune 500 list. Prior to SAIC Capital, Lei worked at Bain & Co advising Fortune 500 senior executives and management team on international business development, corporate strategy as well as operational improvement. Lei has extensive experience working in a range of sectors, including TMT, industrial, financial and retail and consumer goods.
