Michael is a strategic thinker senior finance and operations executive with a strong track record of maximizing shareholder value.  He has over seventeen years of international experience across a broad spectrum of industries ranging from startups to large public corporations in the United States, England, Sweden, and Russia.    He is a hands-on specialist in technical IFRS/US GAAP accounting, IPO, SEC and LSE regulatory reporting, M&A, and due-diligence processes.

Prior to joining BitFury at the beginning of 2014, Michael was a Resident Mentor @ 500Startup Venture Fund and a joint venture partner with Morgan Stanley.  Previously, he was a CFO at Sistema Hals, leading a highly successful IPO on the London Stock Exchange with market capitalization of $2.7 billion; Head of Compliance at Trimble Navigation; Corporate Controller at Entegrity Solutions, a $70M VC-backed pre-IPO software security start-up; and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Mr. Golomb holds a dual-bachelor degree in economics and diplomacy of world affairs from Occidental College, an MS in Management from Stanford Graduate School of Business, and an MBA in finance from Santa Clara University. He is also a certified public accountant in the United States of America.
