Mike is a Director of Product Management, Google and Head of Project Loon : Balloon-powered Internet access.

Mike is called The Startup King, founding four successful internet startups: Stylus Innovation (sold to Artisoft for $13M in 1996), Direct Hit (sold to Ask Jeeves for $532.5M only 500 days after launch), Xfire (sold to Viacom in 2006 for $110M), and Ruba (sold to Google). Michael is perhaps best known for his promotion of “speed as the primary business strategy.”
