The conference is open to:
1. US venture capitalists as well as corporate and other institutional and individual investors interested in exploring investment opportunities originating from Russia, Ukraine, and other countries of the Former Soviet Union;2. US business development professionals interested in new technologies and partnership opportunities with growth technology companies originating from Russia, Ukraine, and other countries of the Former Soviet Union;
3. Companies and individuals interested in the creation of successful products and firms in the high-tech world and their entrance into international technological markets as well as into technology parks and incubators;4. Investors from Russia, Ukraine, and other Former Soviet Union countries looking to find partners in the United States and to exchange experience with professionals from the United States;
5. Scientific and educational institutions interested in learning about the mechanisms of the commercialization of scientific developments.
All Conference participants are required to register at the SVOD website by November 1, 2007. If a company is willing to participate in the business plan competition, it must submit a three page executive summary by September 15, 2007.
SVOD reserves the right to reject any “Full Participant” or “Full Participant and Exhibitor” registration. In this case a refund is issued within two weeks of the notice. The registration fees do not include hotel accommodations, airport transfers, or any other cost associated with travelling and participation in the conference. You may switch participants at any given time, but you must notify the organizers of the Conference in writing. Refunds: If you are not able to obtain an entrance visa into the United States in order to participate in the conference, your registration fee will be refunded, except of transaction fees associated with processing the registration and its refund. In order to receive your refund, you must submit a written request along with a proof of denial of US entry visa no later than two weeks before the start of the conference.
