Pavel Korolev has been working in the field of venture capital financing at the early stages in Russia, Europe and the United States for more than 10 years. Industry Specialization: IT, electronics, and energy efficiency.

Pavel Korolev is a former Director’s Advisor and Head of Venture Financing in the largest regional Institute of Development “Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan” (2006 – 2013). Managing Partner of Volga Venture Partners, the first international fund of Russia, which executed successful investments in Silicon Valley (2010 – 2013). He was the Vice President of the Third Russian Tech Tour (2013); Member of the executive board at different Russian and international technology companies.

At the beginning of his career Pavel had a successful experience in the launching and development of IT start-ups, as well as practical experience in developing and putting into production radio-electronic systems. He has Engineering and legal education at the Kazan State Technical University named after A. N. Tupolev, economic education in MIT Sloan School of Management.
