Managing Director, GE Ventures

Ricardo Angel is a Managing Director at Energy Ventures where he leads origination for the business unit and for Energy Technology Ventures, a joint venture formed by GE, NRG Energy and ConocoPhillips focused on investing in emerging energy technology companies. Ricardo joined GE from ChevronTexaco Technology Ventures’ Venture Capital group. Previous experience includes investment banking at Goldman Sachs and consulting at CNA Corporation. Ricardo holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School and Bachelors as well as Masters and Doctorate degrees in Engineering from the University of Illinois. Ricardo is based in San Francisco.
