Zhen Cao is the Investment Manager of Outpost Capital. She is responsible for deal sourcing, due diligence and post investment management. Prior to Outpost, Zhen was a research assistant at Media Research Lab of NYU under the supervision of Professor Ken Perlin. Before that, she was responsible for Intellectual Property acquisition from Huace Film & TV and Hengdian Group with Alpha Animation, a leading Chinese entertainment group, where she worked with brands including Alibaba and JD.com. The IP licensing project she initiated, , got $16M revenue in the first year. She worked in China Central Television, and Volkswagen China.

Zhen has a Master of Arts degree from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, with an entrepreneurial minor from Stern School of Business.
