To us the conference truly captured what we see in our daily practice, the substantial opportunities and also the challenges with cross-border business arrangements. The SVOD conference was a wonderful event. Networking is very important for start-ups. The challenge for them is often not money: it is mentoring and finding people who can give good advice from experience.

The quality of entrepreneurs and the international flavor: it’s always fun to see where innovation is happening around the world. It was fun for us to see not only the quality of thought but also pace of execution and the teams here are becoming ready to play.

The wonderful thing about entrepreneurs is that their passion for starting new companies transcends languages and geographic boundaries. I felt very comfortable at SVOD and recognized its participants as having the same type of DNA that made Silicon Valley what it is today.

It was great to present at SVOD and meet world-class entrepreneurs and investors. Our venture was off to a fast start in the funding round after the conference, we had an early closing to the round, and I look forward to being part of SVOD in the future!
