Nancy Hayes left the IBM Corporation, where she was a senior executive, with the goal of bringing her business and management skills and experiences to the non-profit environment. She became CEO of a nonprofit organization that helped seriously ill children cope with the medical, emotional and behavioral challenges they face on a daily basis. Subsequently, Nancy was President and CEO of a social services agency focused on improving the quality of life and quality of care for low-income, isolated and frail elderly and disabled adults.
In 2005, Nancy was named Dean of the College of Business at San Francisco State University and after six years in that role, she then served as CFO of the university for 2 years prior to cofounding MoolaHoop in July 2013. MoolaHoop is an entrepreneurial venture, a rewards-based crowdfunding site for women with small businesses, to help them raise debt and equity-free funding for a project to grow their business.
Nancy coaches and mentors women and men starting or growing small businesses, as well as those launching high growth technology-based firms. She is also an angel investor and is a member of Golden Seeds angel group.
She has an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago and resides in San Francisco.
