Aaref Hilaly

Aaref Hilaly is partner at Sequoia, a leading venture capital firm, where he invests in early stage stage technology companies. He presently serves on the boards of Clari, Guardant Health, Skyhigh Networks, ThousandEyes, and several other companies. Prior to joining Sequoia, Aaref spent ten years as an entrepreneur, building two software companies: CenterRun, a pioneer in datacenter automation which was acquired by Sun Microsystems in 2003, and Clearwell, a SaaS company which was acquired by Symantec in 2011. He holds a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University and an MBA from Harvard University.
