Aarti Chandna is an Impact Investor, Strategy consultant and Mentor, who has a deep passion for social change and empowerment. She supports ventures that enable people to empower themselves via education, skill development, and job creation.
Aarti co-leads Impact Investing at Silicon Valley Social Venture Fund and is a mentor to social entrepreneurs at various social accelerator programs including GSBI and MIT D-lab.
Being a woman in Tech, she is extremely enthusiastic about using technology as an enabler for Social Impact. For the past 20 years, she has successfully led global Information Technology teams at various high-tech companies, including Oracle, Hitachi, Coherent, Autodesk, and Nikon.
On the non-profit side, Aarti educates new philanthropists on Venture Philanthropy and Impact. She believes in narrowing the education equity gap and supports several non-profits in the EdTech and education space.
She is an executive board member and partner at Silicon Valley Social Venture Fund. She also serves on the board of the Peninsula Bridge and Teen Success Inc.
Aarti holds B.S. in Mathematics from Bombay University and an M.S. in Computer Science from Case Western Reserve University.
