Adam focuses primarily on investments in enterprise infrastructure, big data/analytics, datacenter technologies, and artificial intelligence.
At age 13, Adam enrolled as a full-time student at UC Berkeley, where he studied pure and applied mathematics and conducted research in number theory and machine learning. Prior to Lightspeed, he was an early product manager at Rubrik (a Lightspeed portfolio company) where he launched a product line. Previously, he has worked as an engineer at Dropbox and Palantir, as a mathematician at the Department of Defense, and as a researcher at Stanford InfoLab, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He also was a technical consultant for HBO’s Silicon Valley.
Adam graduated from Stanford with a B.S. in Computer Science with a concentration in systems. At Stanford, he was a founding partner of the Dorm Room Fund in conjunction with First Round Capital.
