Bhaskar brings more than 20 years of experience in building innovative products and taking them to market. He is an entrepreneur and a proven leader with startup experience (like PlaceWare, Qik) as well as leading groups within large organizations, like Oracle, Microsoft and HP.

Prior to Playphone, Bhaskar was the Co-Founder and SVP of Products at Qik. Qik was acquired by Skype in January of 2011 by Microsoft. At Skype, Bhaskar was Head of Qik Products where he led the charter to bring asynchronous communications and new mobile experiences in Skype.

Prior to Qik, Bhaskar was a Sr. Product Director for SMB Products at Oracle. While at Oracle, Roy also served as Director of Product Management for Unified Communications products. Prior to Oracle, Royled product management and channel marketing at PlaceWare (which is now a part of Microsoft Lync after the company was acquired by Microsoft). Bhaskar has a BS in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology, India.
