As a global senior executive, Caroline has rapidly grown consumer internet and enterprise businesses on the scale of $25M to $3.5B in annual revenue. Currently, Caroline is VP and Chief Digital Officer at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where she has P&L, strategy, and operational responsibility for the online channel. The online channel offers enterprise software solutions to SMB/Mid-Market/Enterprise customers through several web and mobile experiences. Caroline is focused on digital marketing, product and technology innovation, and specialized sales models to drive growth in net new customers and revenue. She leads a global organization that includes product management, design, engineering, operations, analytics, marketing, and sales.
Prior to HPE, Caroline held six years of leadership roles at Yahoo!. As Senior Director of Search and E-Commerce, which include Yahoo! Autos, Shopping, Travel, and Homes, she launched consumer internet innovations that drove 500 million daily visits and $3.5 billion in revenue. Before Yahoo!, she spent three years at IBM Global Services transforming supply chain, order management, customer service, and channel marketing operations for clients in the high-tech, travel insurance, retail, and medical device industries.
Caroline currently serves on the boards of two public companies, Rosetta Stone (NYSE: RST) and Travelzoo (NASDAQ: TZOO). She is involved in the venture community from mentoring enterprise focused start-ups participating in The Alchemist Accelerator.
Caroline holds an MS in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University and a BS in Computer Science from Stanford University. She has been recognized as The National Diversity Council’s Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology and Silicon Valley Business Journal’s 40 Under 40. She speaks conversational Mandarin Chinese, plays USTA 4.5 adult league tennis, and does CrossFit three to four times per week.
