Chetan joined NEA in 2011 and focuses on Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications and infrastructure software. His investments at NEA include MuleSoft, MongoDB, Elastic, Acquia, Swiftype, Forter, Placester, ScoutRFP, and Beanstalk. He was previously involved with Gaikai (acquired by Sony). He’s been named to Forbes Magazine’s “30 under 30” in venture capital.
Prior to joining NEA, Chetan was an investor with H.I.G. Capital’s Leveraged Buyout Group and a technology investment banker with Houlihan Lokey. Chetan earned his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. While at Stanford, he was involved in algorithm research at Stanford’s STARlab.
