Dan is Managing Director of ADAP Capital LLC and ADAP Advisory Services LLC. ADAP (A Different Approach to Poverty) invests in innovative early-stage entrepreneurs who are working to eradicate extreme poverty. An operations guy at heart, Dan loves using his strategic CFO/COO background to help organizations learn the power of simplicity and discipline to grow effectively.He never tires of working through financial statements and KPIs to identify how companies can reach their potential. He has 25 years of experience within social enterprises, NGOs, and consulting firms, and he has invested part of his own portfolio in early-stage social enterprises.
Dan holds a Master in Public Policy degree from the Harvard Kennedy School and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Stanford. Dan, who lives in San Francisco with his wife and three kids, is a trail runner who can occasionally be found in local music clubs playing drums with his rock band.
