Dylan Tweney is a writer and editor focused on technology and business.

He is the executive editor at VentureBeat, a news publication obsessed with covering the technology revolution and its impact on business and daily life.

Previously, he was senior editor at Wired.com, where he was responsible for the site’s gadget news andproduct reviews from 2008 to 2011, and launched the site’s business coverage in 2007.

He is a 1991 graduate of Williams College, where he majored in religion and studied poetry. He has worked as a weed whacker, pizza chef, ESL teacher, and environmental activist, and won the Boston Poetry Slam in 1992.
