Jeff brings a unique combination of entrepreneurial, venture capital, and product development experience to DCM. At the firm, he focuses on opportunities in the small business ecosystem, marketplaces, consumer services, and the disruption of large, traditional industries.
Most recently, Jeff founded Cost Cooperative, a member-based buying group for small businesses, which exited to TriNet (TNET). Prior, he opened the Los Angeles office for Mission Ventures, a venture firm focused on early stage technology companies in the Southern California ecosystem. As an engineer, Jeff pioneered cutting-edge DSL technologies and developed new product lines at Cisco.
When not engaging with entrepreneurs, Jeff enjoys pretty much anything that involves water and food especially snorkeling, fly-fishing, and cooking. Jeff is also an avid bicyclist. He and his wife met despite going to rival schools (Stanford & UCLA) vs. (Berkeley & USC).
