Mike Xu is the Co-executive Chief Representative of Fosun Silicon Valley Office and Managing Director of Fosun Capital. With expertise in the fields of TMT global private equity investment and industrial M&A, he has long served as the executive member of Fosun’s IoT, AI & Big Data, Integrated Marketing, Robotics and Industrial Automation Committees.

Mike has invested in Espressif Systems, the world’s leading fabless IoT semiconductor company, and serves as Board Director. He also invested in CCi Intelligence, China’s leading business social networking Big Data & AI company, and in Delhivery, India’s largest e-commerce logistics company, through a Sino-US consortium. To promote industry development synergies, he led the establishment of “China Future City Lab” between Fosun and MIT, and the strategic cooperation of corporate venture accelerator between Fosun and Plug & Play. He was selected as “The Most Viewed Financial Investors on LinkedIn in China for 2017~2018.”

Mike has nearly 20 years of combined investment and industrial experience in the US and China technology sector. Prior to Fosun in a chronological order, he served as Division General Manager of Microsoft Global Technology Engineering Center, Co-Founder & VP of Wicresoft (aMicrosoft JV), Nielsen GBS Research Operation Head of Greater China and Vice President of Bertelsmann arvato China. He is recognized for his versatility of cross-border management and entrepreneurial practices in Greater China, United States, Japan, and Singapore etc.

Mike holds a Bachelor degree from Electronic Engineering of Fudan University and a Master from Olin Business School of Washington University in St. Louis.
