Serguei  Beloussov, Senior partner and Co-founder of Runa Capital  and Quantum Wave Fund,  Founder of Parallels, Acronis, Acumatica, Rolsen.

According to the magazine Forbes   Serguei  Beloussov is one of the five most successful businessmen  from  Russia, who made a business abroad.

Serguei is currently a Senior Partner at Runa Capital ( Runa Capital is  technology-focused venture capital firm whose investments have created or incubated companies with more than US$10 billion in assets. It was established to seek growth opportunities in the rapidly growing areas of the tech sector, with specific focus on cloud computing and other hosted services, virtualization and mobile applications.  The key execution point is to select promising teams and drive and support them in the global marketplace, turning them into international champions. Named by Techcrunch as “the leading fund investing in Russia”.

Serguei is Founder, Chief Architect and Chairman in Parallels ( Parallels is a worldwide leader in hosting and cloud service enablement and desktop virtualization. Parallels software runs on every six  Apple PC on the planet. Parallels is a fast-growing company with more than 1000 employees, $ 150 mln. turnover, supporting more than 50 million users and more than 12 million small businesses worldwide.

Founder and Partner of Quantum Wave Fund (, a  venture capital firm focused on companies that are applying quantum materials and technologies  to solve real-world problems.

Founder of Acronis (, specialising in physical and virtual data management and disaster recovery software, the company employs 850+ people and generates over $150M revenue. Beloussov was President and Chairman, then Executive-Chariman until 2009, when his business partner Ilya Zubarev took over as Executive-Chairman.
Founder and Chairman of the Board in Acumatica (, an innovative and fast-growing developer of cloud-based ERP software, after a recent investment from KKR the company is well on its way to become the main platform for 300K SMBs in the Nordic countries.

Mr. Beloussov also pays a lot of attention to support of innovation, development of science and education. He had co-founded Qwave Capital ( venture fund, created for support of advanced quantum technologies. Serguei is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the  Russian Quantum Center, and seats on the Governing Board of Center for Quantum Technologies in Singapore ( Serguei is actively supporting creation of Innopolis and IT-University in Tatarstan region of Russia; he is on Advisory Board of Innopolis as well.

In the past Mr. Beloussov was CEO, founder and co-owner of Solomon Software, an exclusive franchising distributor of US mid-market ERP vendor, the company was aquired by Microsoft. He was the first CEO, founder and co-owner of Rolsen (, the largest consumer electronics manufacturer in Russia with a $500M/year turnover.

Serguei received a B.S. With honours in Physics in 1992, an M.S. With honours in Physics and Electrical Engineering in 1995 and a Ph.D. In Computer Science in 2007, all from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
